President Obama announced last night that following years of investigative work performed at his direction and a military operation he authorized, U.S. soldiers descended on a secure compound near Islamabad, Pakistan and killed Osama Bin Laden. Â No Americans were harmed in the operation and Bin Laden’s body is in U.S. custody.
